Opening Day Ceremony & Scrimmages 2019

This Saturday please plan to attend our 2019 opening day ceremony event. This is an annual event that kick-offs the Spring season and the year's activities. There will be fun things to do for the kids, food truck vendors, Kona Ice, Frozen Chosen Ice Cream, SWAT team with interactive display, and more!

Special Guest Aubree Munro (Team USA Catcher) will be in attendance!

Date: Saturday, February 2, 2019
Location: Burton Memorial Park
Players Arrive by: 8:30am
Ceremony Starts: 9:00am
Scrimmages Begin: 10:30am

Activity wristbands are now on sale in the concession stand for $10 each ($12 day of). These bands get each child access to the bounce houses, obstacle course, rock wall, etc.

There will also be a raffle table setup with awesome prizes such as $250 to Stanley Steemer, a $600 Glass Shower Door with Frame and Installation from Caloosahatchee Glass, and more. If your company would like to donate a raffle basket or items please email [email protected].

Scrimmage games will be 1 hour. Each team will bat through their entire lineup (clearing the bases on 3 outs) and then at the end of the lineup teams will switch sides. These are ceremonial games, there will be no umpires and no score kept. Substitutions for fielders should occur approx 50% of the way through the lineup.
